Mike Suttle

Mike Suttle was born and raised in Greenbrier County, WV and is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 16 years of military service and 9 combat tours overseas. Mike is a 4th generation cattle farmer with around 100 beef cattle. Mike has spent 30 years as a police dog breeder and trainer and the owner / operator of Logan Haus Kennels for the past 21 years.

Along with his wife, Megan, and his sons Logan and Nathan, Mike has been the owner/operator of Sinking Creek Whitetails, a class 1 deer and elk breeding facility in Lewisburg, WV for the past 6 years. Currently they have around 100 deer and elk and are expecting around 50 fawns born this spring. In addition the the class 1 breeding facility, Mike has been the owner/operator of their class 2 facility, Sinking Creek Whitetails hunting preserve since 2024.

Mike is a lifetime member of the North American Deer Farmers Association. He is committed to helping the cervid industry grow and develop inside of West Virginia through lobbying efforts, educational programs, and networking events that help bring producers together on a national and state level.

Justin Knight

Justin Knight is a dedicated husband (Karrissa) and father of three (Lyndon, Maybree, and Nylah) who, after more than 10 years of research and following the deer industry, took the jump and started his whitetail deer farm, Cross Brothers Whitetails, in 2024 where they reside in Ritchie County. Passionate about agriculture and wildlife management, he is committed to supporting and strengthening the deer farming community across the state. Justin is an active member of the Pennsboro Church of Christ and values faith, family, and hard work in all areas of life. The deer farm is a total family effort and brings the family closer as well as providing valuable life lessons and accountability. He hopes to bring greater resources, visibility, and opportunities to West Virginia deer farmers through stronger collaboration at both the local and national levels. Outside of deer farming he enjoys traveling with his family, spending the weekends on the boat at the lake, and just about anything outdoors or hands on work. Outside of farming he has been in the insurance industry for over 12 years and prior at the family concrete business, teaching, and doing physical therapy.

Megan Pakradooni

Megan Pakradooni has been involved with animals in various capacities her entire life.

Megan has bred and trained horses and taught riding lessons for over 20 years. She also breeds, raises, and trains dogs professionally. She has spent much of her life in the veterinary field and is well-versed in medical care for a variety of animals.

Megan has been involved in the deer industry for 6 years through Mike Suttle at Sinking Creek Whitetails. She is in charge of bottle feeding and care for the fawns each summer and also helps with day-to-day operations and veterinary care.

Megan specializes in admin work, website design, and social media communications and marketing. She is committed to using those tools to help better and grow this organization. Megan recently designed and launched this website at no charge for the WVDFA.
